Well this is going to be a news summary and I will be elaborating on the site's NEWS Section and the Blog. First I guess I'd have to give a Happy Birthday to my beautiful sister Jen, who has just turned 22 today. As of the 29th of June I will have officially moved to a nice one bedroom apartment in East Patchogue, half a block from the bay. It is going to be really nice for a myriad of reasons best left to explain later.
I HAVE BEEN PUBLISHED IN THE LITERARY JOURNAL "EAST END ELEMENTS". A poem and short story of mine was chosen to be in the Suffolk Eastern's literary publication. It is chock full of great art. I will be adding a nice addition to the PUBLICATIONS, NEWS, and RUNE WORKS Sections as this pertains to E.E.E. Now I just need a few more of these publications to choose my work so that I can land an agent by the time I finish my book WAYS (the END is near). Thanks to everyone who has helped me along my ways.
Well after a couple of arduous weeks in which about 19 pages were written for my classes while I ate coffee, burped thunder, and spit lightning I am back on the site. Major renovations will be coming soon. And I promise that I will again be diligent about blogging every week. For now I'd like to say that my all night paper extravaganzas are officially over -- I got straight A's, my summer gym class (backpacking) was canceled due to lack of people and a kindly dean has agreed to wave my (pretty futile) requirements for gym for my degree, because I was a gentleman and did not freak out when the inevitable occurred. Thus, I am here to write this and am not out learning how to make a fire from a pair of tattered boxer shorts, a can of Crisco, and a nose hair trimmer.
Well life, though still busy (the book is sprouting little baby legs and threatening to grow up on me), has been really good. My Dad is doing well after his shoulder surgery and I am relieved to say it looks like the worst is over (though he is still in some serious pain) and hopefully he will feel a lot better in the near future. My grandparents have moved to Tennessee in a big beautiful home overlooking the Smoky mountains and I wish them good luck. My friends and family overall seem to be doing very well from my buddy Chris' promotion to my bud Cole's relentless training for a triathlon (now that is badass).
In TV: LOST was AWESOME this year, truly REVOLUTIONARY! WOW! And Battlestar is close behind; while the METS are horrendous (OHHHH the PAIN!).
And last, in the place of honor, I will hear say that once upon a time I met the most amazing girl. My girlfriend, Laura, is supremely smart, has a great sense of humor and is funny, beautiful, hardworking, and has the most heart piercing smile. The incredible woman runs (and she has me all set to run a 10k race with her; I'm back on my serious wheels baby), snowboards, and has great taste. She is so great and I am so lucky! I keep pinching myself to make sure this is not something I am dreaming. I feel like a Rockstar Babe.
