Yesterday was my Dad's Birthday, so I'd like to wish the great man Many Happy Returns!  Without my Dad's perseverances I would not be who/where I am today - thanks Dad!  As a more serious example of this in my life I never would have survived the work day today without perseverances - having caused a tube of Crazy Glue to explode in my hand (gluing a couple of my fingers together, but not the piece of switch box that I wanted to stick).

This past weekend Laura and I made our own pizza pie  (phone in if you think "pizza pie" is redundant)!  We took-a the doe, flipped it in the air (okay maybe the fan would have killed this if we tried), put on our sauce, sprinkled the cheese, and I went to town Ginsuing the meatballs...  ah Ginsu.  It was sooo good.  [All right now I'm hungry (this tapeworm has got to go).]  And I'd like to say publicly I can cook, albeit in a supervised session.  On Saturday morning I purchased a new mountain bike and Laura's beautiful new bike was kind enough to let mine ride alongside hers on a six mile Pine Barrens off-road bike trail expedition.  We both agreed... it was AWESOME!  We were on our way out there again Sunday when Thunder Battle 2008 #2 began (the one that never let up) while we bought bike supplies in Target.  Rushing outside to get soaked we dejectedly brought the bikes inside and dried them off.  But pack in some more of a certain someone's killer smile and the Weekend was absolutely amazing!

Changes have begun.  I have posted various mementos from my recent published works all over the site and I plan on some more rearranging and adding of my art to spruce things up.

Be content, but not so content as to ever stop improving upon the great.

This week is officially over tomorrow after 4:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, because it is Laura and I's day to celebrate two months together!  So I am canceling any and all knowledge, wherewithal, plans, obligations, time, and gravity and with the week ending thus, so early, there is nothing that can find us, unless we want it to until Monday!

These have been two of the best months of my life and though they have been incredibly busy, bustling, and moving (figuratively and literally), though there have been trials and tribulations, and so very much that just had to be done I have never been so happy, nor have I ever ever been so grateful to be in the company of such an amazing, intelligent, and inspiring woman.  Laura you have come to me in a dream and I never want to wake up.

MOVED! 07/15/2008

I have resurfaced at long last to grace the site again.  I have packed, moved, and unpacked (mostly) and landed on my feet (more or less) in East Patchogue, just a three minute walk to the bay.  Life has been busier than should be possible and I have worked the work and then the unpacking/moving work around the clock so as to be able to sit comfortably and write at a desk once more today.  I have a new antique-fashioned glass-top desk to write/blog on and my girlfriend Laura continues to smile my way, so I am truly in heaven.

Laura has completed her Masters Degree and will be starting a great new job as administrator on Monday.  She is finally catching her breath after so many days of hard work followed by hours of tedious school/papers, not to mention being a huge help in hours of moving activities for a certain restless wanderer.

I'd like to thank my family and friends who helped me move, I could not have relocated all of that stuff (to put it nicely) without you all, THANKS!

My sister's boyfriend David has joined the army and I'd like to officially wish him the BEST of LUCK.

My grandparents have also moved - to Tennessee - and I'd like to wish them all  the best, as well.  I miss you much!

And here it is I have slaved to finally gain a settlement and I can officially get back to some "me" time.  My pen and guitar, friends and family have been a bit neglected the past few weeks, but the hard part is over and now I can enjoy everything and everyone a lot more.  Life is grand.

P.S. BIG Changes are pending for this site (I know I have been promising it); the wrecking ball, renovation crew, and Wackadoo bros. are all standing by.  The "When" is soon, very soon.
