As the summer trickles down I have just had an opportunity to take a deep breath here. Ahhh, what an amazing summer! My August/summer concluded in a series of fun events bringing home the fact to me that I am the luckiest man alive (even tumbling down a mountain path and going right over the handlebars of my bike left me unscathed and smiling!). Mini golf hole in one later, yes I GOT A HOLE IN ONE (I have a witness) and miss LPGA got TWO HOLES IN ONE and an Elvis Costello/Police (was that Sting singing with Elvis on "Alyson") mega-concert kicked off the month! A beach house at Fire Island was the start of my vacation at the month's end. The water, beach, stars and eventful times with friends and L. was great. The little lady then took me to the B"ah"ston Red Sox - Yankees Game on Tuesday night and aside from my terrible driving and the Yankees losing we both had a great time (and I got to bid farewell to an American landmark - what a cool place).
As the week at the beach ended I went upstate with my gal. There we went to HOWE CAVERNS!! It was an AWESOME end to the summer!
