Well it must have slipped my mind, but I must announce that I received an Honors Scholarship for the remainder of my term at this school, provided I maintain my high G.P.A. (3.8 and climbing) and continue to take Honors Courses - I will now be graduating with an Honors Degree, which is one up on a degree with Honors. 

Now to keep up the good fight, this weekend, I will be writing a huge paper on Romantic Period Literature (I think doing it a few weeks early will secure a good near-future weekend in Boston and possibly another one in Manhattan), I will answer a few dozen questions and a few essays for American Cinema, and then lastly I am finishing up my book.  A book of agents sits to my left, as I type this, for inspiration. 

John Lennon would have turned sixty-nine years old yesterday.  The man, the legend, the symbol for peace around the world was gone before I was even born, yet his spirit and life's work continues to thrive:  "Livin' for the day...".

Here is an extremely brief, but great biography on the amazing American writer (possibly one of the most accomplished of all time), Stephen King, written by his wife.  Anyone remotely curious about King's origin should check this out, it is truly inspiring.

It should be a good weather weekend and my mountain bike and the Pines will not be ignored tomorrow before writing dominates this very earth.  The wicked Sox, Torre's Dodgers (who better wake up, down 0-2), Rangers, Knicks (yea I said it - I mean hell we could win thirty games this year), Jets and New York Football Giants will all be in my peripheral vision to get me through it.  That and coffee...   it has been a while, but the 100% Colombian brew was made for school and for autumn.
