A poor boy lives on the wrong side of the tracks, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
And his mother cries, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
The poor boy does well in school, has a good steady job, treats others as equals and aspires to have his work published, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
And his mother cries, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
But there are those who only see the poor boy as if he were one of the many tumbleweeds that roll around aimlessly, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
And his mother cries, In The Ghetto... In The Ghetto.
