On this day in 1941 Robert Zimmerman was born. This man came to be one of the greatest songwriters of all time and in any genre of music. Happy 68th B-day Bob Dylan! And "...there was music in the cafes at night and revolution in the air."

While this video was taken I was literally in Boston wearing my "Yankee Hater" shirt at Fenway Park. They don't rip down landmark stadiums up there. The same can't be said for New York (and that's not in reference to the Mets, for though I love them, Shea was no landmark). The only piece of the Yankees I loved, "The Stadium," which as a huge fan of baseball (and it's history) never ceased to inspire, or give me a good time has been torn down. The monuments that never moved, even as a renovation brought the centerfield wall in front of them, were uprooted, quite unlike the great Fenway where I stood and saw a red chair in right where Ted Williams crushed his home run. The last love I ever had for the Yankees has been replaced by unfilled seats across the street (not that Citi-field is much better) for rich obnoxious and pompous fans that have little love for the game.
